Big Oyster to host beer dinner Jan. 31

To kick off an event-packed year, Big Oyster will host its first beer dinner from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 31, in the big red barn on Kings Highway in Lewes.

The five-course dinner will feature handcrafted dishes from head chef Nick Carr highlighting the culturally diverse food scene of the Cape Region with features like hot and sour soup, filet bulgogi and a regional cheese plate.

Head Brewer Andrew Harton will be serving up five of Big Oyster’s most coveted limited-release beers including Delaware Dreamsicle IPA, Blue Lips Sour Ale and Lavender Fields IPA brewed with locally harvested lavender from Lavender Fields Farm in Milton.

Tickets are $50. Space is limited.
