Team Black wins summer league soccer championship

Team Black took top honors in the Tower Beach Football Club's Summer Adult League with a 5-1 win over Team Grey in the Aug. 4 championship. The game was held on the Cape Henlopen Bermuda field in Lewes.
Team Grey defeated Team Yellow, and Team Black downed Team Red in the semifinals.
"I really enjoy providing a niche for our Milton, Lewes and Rehoboth communities as it provides our youth and our adults a stress-free but organized opportunity to play soccer in the summer," said Tower Beach FC owner Patrick Kilby.
Tower Beach FC will host a fall league on Monday nights in October and November at Cape Henlopen High School in Legends Stadium.
Adult and youth Futsal leagues are also planned in January and February.
