The body of a 63-year-old man was found June 2 in Delaware Seashore State Park, south of the Indian River Inlet beach.

State park officers and Delaware State Police found the unresponsive man at 11:50 p.m. lying face down on the beach, police said, and they began life-saving efforts. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man's body was turned over to the Division of Forensic Science to determine the cause of death. Police said the investigation does not appear to be suspicious but remains active.
