A man was found dead in Rehoboth Bay Sept. 26 and officials are determining the cause of death.
The body of the man, 46, was found at 7:08 p.m. in the Long Neck area of Rehoboth Bay, and he was pronounced dead at the scene, said Master Cpl. Heather Pepper of the Delaware State Police.
The body was turned over to the Delaware Division of Forensic Science to determine cause of death, she said.
The Delaware State Police and Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control are conducting the active and ongoing case. The incident does not pose a threat to the surrounding community, Pepper said.
