Bonnie Ann Savino, data processor

July 16, 2018

Bonnie Ann Savino, 67, of Millsboro, formerly of Yorktown Heights, N.Y., passed away at home Sunday, July 15, 2018. Born in Peekskill, N.Y., to the late Edgar Nathanael and Doris May Gaudinier Davey, she earned a technical certification in computer operations from BOCES.

Shortly after graduation, Bonnie began working for AT&T as a data processor. She immensely enjoyed her career, and left only to care for her growing family.

In 1971, Bonnie married Emil P. Savino Jr. of Mahopac, NY, and began a loving marriage that lasted over 47 years. Together they raised four children before eventually following their retirement dreams to Delaware. Bonnie is fondly remembered for her remarkable and warm ability to strike up a conversation with anyone she encountered.

She enjoyed baking, loved her feline friends, and adored her two granddaughters, Emily and Natasha Savino.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, Emil, and her children: Jamie Savino of South Padre Island, Texas, Robert N. and Nelson Savino-Caraballo of New Windsor, N.Y., Rebecca Savino of Millsboro, and Michael and Sue Savino of New Fairfield, Conn. Bonnie has one brother, Robert Davey of Peekskill. She is also survived by her aunt - and lifelong friend - Cheryl Ford; a large, beloved extended family, and many friends.

A memorial service and celebration of her life will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, July 19, at Watson Funeral Home, Millsboro, with the Rev. James Van Der Wall officiating. Flowers are welcome. Memorial contributions may also be made to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
