Boos, Brews & Booze set at Lewes Historical Society Oct. 27

Exciting Halloween experience for grown-ups
October 10, 2018

Looking for an exciting Halloween experience for the grown-ups this year? Join a hauntingly good time at Boos, Brews, & Booze at the Lewes Historical Society Saturday, Oct. 27.

Visit the historical grounds and buildings at the Shipcarpenter Street Campus while hearing authentic historic criminal tales of murder and mayhem told by living history characters, all while indulging in local spirits and treats. The ticket price also includes delicious home-style fall foods by area restaurants.

Each small group gets its own historical “ghoul” for a more personal experience. Historical properties, decorated by Styled LLC, included in the event are the Burton Ingram House, Rabbit’s Ferry House, Ellegood House, the Old Doctor’s Office, and the Midway Schoolhouse. Hear a tale of murder and revenge; encounter tragic witches and a sailor who lost his head.

Breweries, distilleries, and wineries, oh my! Available for tastings are Dogfish Head Craft Brewing, Revelation Craft Brewing, Brimming Horn Meadery, Beach Time Distilling, and Sposato Family Vineyards.

Tickets are $60 per person and available at HistoricLewes.org. This event is 21-plus only.
