Pirates will return for the Bowers Beach Buccaneer Bash from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, May 23 and 24, with a full weekend of free, family-friendly programming at Watermen’s Park.

The festival transforms the waterfront into an interactive pirate experience featuring treasure hunts, pirate school, live music and hands-on demonstrations.

Visitors can explore a full pirate encampment created by the Sons of the Waves Pyrate Reenactors, watch hourly cannon and musket firings, and take part in activities designed for all ages. Additional highlights include a petting zoo, food trucks, vendors selling pirate-themed merchandise, interactive presentations, and performances both days by coastal singer-songwriter Kurt Stevens.
