Brian K. Robbins, loved sports

Brian K. Robbins, 58, of Dagsboro passed away surrounded by his family Friday, June 14, 2019, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Md.

He was born in Lewes July 18, 1960, son of the late Franklin D. Robbins and Ruth A. (Long) Robbins.  Brian was a graduate of Indian River High School class of 1978.  He proudly served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1979-82.  

Brian was a contractor prior to his disability.  He loved sports of all types and enjoyed his work.  He was deeply devoted to his family and was a loving grandfather.

He is survived by his loving companion and best friend of 32 years, Karen L. Mitchell; two sons, Sean Robbins and his fiancée Katelyn Layfield of Millsboro, and Sherman Mitchell of Millsboro; and two granddaughters, Raelynn Robbins and Riley Coco.

A graveside service will be held at 9 a.m., Saturday, June 29, at Millsboro Cemetery.
