Duo to perform Back to Broadway musical tribute Sunday night
June 1, 2021

Milton Theatre will host a master class with Broadway stars Jordan Wolfe and Michelle Dowdy from 12 to 2 p.m., Sunday, June 6.

Participants can learn what it means to be a true performer in the arts. For ages 9 and older, the class costs $35. Only 15 students will be accepted for this exclusive program.

Each participant must prepare one memorized Broadway song to be fully performed at the master class. A backing track must be supplied by the student.

Master class participants will receive 10 percent off tickets to that evening’s performance of Back to Broadway featuring Wolfe and Dowdy.

Tickets are available for purchase online at MiltonTheatre.com, or call the box office at 302-684-3038 for assistance.

The Milton Theatre is located at 110 Union St. in downtown historic Milton along the Broadkill River.

Michelle Dowdy first took New York by storm as Tracy Turnblad in the Broadway production of “Hairspray,” racking up over 400 performances. She has gone on to play the role internationally. Most recently, she was seen as scene-stealer Madame Thenardier in the national tour of “Les Miserables.”

Jordan Wolfe is a New York vocalist, actor and composer. He was in the original off-Broadway casts of “Neurosis” and “Night of the Living Dead, the Musical,” which he also wrote.
