Browseabout sets reading with three local poets Oct. 13
Browseabout Books announces a poetry reading with three local poets; Linda Blaskey, Irene Fick, and Kit Zak, will be held Saturday, Oct. 13.
Linda Blaskey’s work has appeared in numerous journals and anthologies, including Best New Poets 2014. Her chapbook, Farm, was published by Bay Oak Publishers, and she has two books to be released in 2019, one a collaboration with three other writers.
Fick’s second collection of poetry, “The Wild Side of the Window,” was published in June 2018 by Main Street Rag. Her first book, “The Stories We Tell” (The Broadkill Press), received first-place awards from the National Federation of Press Women and Delaware Press Association.
Zak’s first book, “Once Honeysuckle,” was published in 2017 by Kelsay Books. She has recently been published in several journals and anthologies, including Blue Collar Review, Newsversenews, and Red Earth Review.
Jamie Brown, publisher of The Broadkill Review, will introduce the three poets.
