Byrne cares deeply about Rehoboth

August 9, 2018

My partner and I have owned property in the City of Rehoboth Beach for almost two decades. Over the years I have interacted with many public officials. Our town has been fortunate to have many dedicated and focused people working on our behalf as city commissioners. I believe that electing Richard "Dick" Byrne would not only add to that list of outstanding commissioners, but provide a level of professionalism and commitment that will increase the effectiveness of the commission.

Dick Byrne will work to make our town a safer, cleaner, healthier and more prosperous place - while maintaining its unique characteristics and quality of life.

I have seen Dick Byrne in action. He is a very intelligent, measured and results-driven person - and a proven and accomplished professional. He listens and considers all sides of an issue. Dick has demonstrated over and over his character and moral values - he lives them rather than talks them. His commitment to improving Rehoboth Beach is unquestioned and proven - and his ideas and perspective for planned and rational growth are essential for the future of our wonderful town.

I strongly encourage my neighbors to vote for Dick Byrne as city commissioner. Dick cares about people and he cares about Rehoboth - and he can turn that care into action.
