On Saturday, Aug. 11, the voters of Rehoboth Beach will select two new commissioners. In this election, we have a great choice in Richard Byrne. Dick is a full-time resident of our little town and extremely knowledgable of the issues facing us. We need someone who knows and understands the needs of the whole range of people affected by the commissioners' decisions: the full-time residents, the summer visitors, the residents of the greater Rehoboth area, the business community, our city employees.
Dick has demonstrated through his active community leadership that he is the person for the job. So, I plan to vote for him this coming Saturday and hope others will also.
