CAMP Rehoboth fine art photography show to open March 2

February 21, 2019

Inspiration, Vision and Voice, a fine art photography exhibition, will be on display at CAMP Rehoboth from Saturday, March 2 to Saturday, March 30. A reception with the artists is set for 3 to 5 p.m., Saturday, March 2.

In the exhibition, Coastal Camera Club members who are exploring fine art photography will share their latest work and their inspiration, vision and voice.

“Ethereal Luminescence is an ongoing series of abstract, expressionistic photographs I originally created as a light show,” said photographer Peter Treiber. “Through abstraction, my photographs capture the drama and excitement of vibrant and colorful public places that we all enjoy so much.”

Sue Eberhart said: “I have always admired other styles of photography. Much later that I realized I, too, could create images. I continue to travel and learn and photograph in many environments, always looking for a creative way to make an image that is interesting and pleasing to me.”

Dick Snyder creates a mood of mystery. “It was a dull and rainy day in Montenegro,” he said. “I saw this small island out in the lake and wondered, what goes on there? Our guide didn't seem to know either. Hence, the Mysterious Island.”

Marta Nammack uses her photography to convey her voice.  Works by 15 photographers will be on display in this exhibition. Artists will be on hand at the reception to share their inspiration, vision and voice. CAMP Rehoboth is at 37 Baltimore Ave., Rehoboth Beach.
