CAMP Rehoboth to hold HeART & Soul Art Auction with reception June 1

May 23, 2019

CAMP Rehoboth has announced its auction fundraiser for 2019 – HeART & Soul. CAMP Rehoboth is the heart of the community, and the artists who share their amazing talents with all are part of its soul.

HeART & Soul is on exhibit in the CAMP Rehoboth Gallery, 37 Baltimore Ave., Rehoboth Beach, and bidding is already in progress. The Closing Bid Reception will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., Saturday, June 1, when attendees can place their final bids, or they can use the Buy Now for $500 option at the gallery to secure an artwork earlier.

Participating artists include Aina Nergaard-Nammack, Barbara E. Warden, Donna Deely, Gary J. Fisher, Jane Knaus, Jeff Todd Moore, Melissa Widerkehr, Renata Price, Rod Cook, Samuel Dixon, Sondra N. Arkin, Susan Frey, Terry M. Isner, and Yvonne Frankis.

Frey’s mixed media work “Go!Go” conveys energy. Shapes and colors are balanced with care. “While I explore color combinations, I give the shapes organizational qualities and balance,” she said.

Cook’s art is of the Delaware shoreline as well as Baltimore and Washington urban landscapes. His watercolor “Howard Street Bridge,” a scene from Baltimore, reflects a more urban theme with an emphasis on form.

Price is a classical realist painter working in southern Delaware whose work has been exhibited throughout the area. Price’s “Elegant Calla,” with its amazing dewdrops, reflects the very detail-oriented style that is characteristic of her art.

Proceeds from the art auction will support CAMP Rehoboth’s arts programming, which brings people together using art to build stronger, healthier, and more vibrant communities. More information about HeART and Soul can be found at www.camprehoboth.com.
