Cape boys’ tennis falls to Dover 3-2

The Cape boys’ tennis team won both doubles matches against Dover April 26, but couldn’t quite get that third team point, falling 3-2 to the Senators. The Vikings drop to 1-4 on the season.

Cape’s first doubles team of Rahul C. Patel and Aiden Bowman defeated Dover’s Anthony Climie and Naman Bhavsar 6-1, 6-3. The second doubles team of Declan Morrissey and Devin Chafin defeated Jayden Tatman and Steven Powell 6-0, 6-2.

Cape’s first singles Ben Koly dropped a 2-6, 0-6 match to Dover’s Matt Sandusky. Second singles John Southerst fell 5-7, 4-6 to Dover’s Matt Milan, while Senators third singles Om Patel downed Cape’s Rahul Patel 6-4, 6-2.
