Cape lacrosse is a season-long process of reconfiguration. All heads are on a swivel going into every practice and game. The mission is to develop depth and just get better overall.

Cape rebounded off a tough 11-10 loss to Salesianum by snapping on Smyrna April 21 at Legends Stadium, earning a 21-4 win.

Cape’s goal scorers were Gabe Best and Hank D’Ambrogi each with five, Jack Schell and Mikey Frederick with three apiece and single goals from Blake Gipko, Jaden Davis, C.J. Fritchman and L.B. Harrington.

Cape assists were Best with four, D’Ambrogi with two, and Jake Truitt and Frederick with one each.

Cape will play the Fighting Mallards of Worcester Prep in Berlin, Md., at 1 p.m., Saturday, April 24. The Vikings girls’ team will play at the same time on a nearby field.
