Cape High student receives Ferd Meyer Scholarship

The Delmarva Antique Bottle Club and the Ellendale Volunteer Fire Department presented Cape High student Brynley Mulveny with the annual Ferd Meyer Scholarship for $1,000 during Cape High’s senior awards ceremony May 31.
The award is presented to a Sussex County public high school graduating senior with a 2.9 GPA or better.
Named for founder Ferdinand “Ferd” Meyer, the Delmarva Antique Bottle Club raises scholarship funds through its annual Antique Bottle Show. The Ellendale Volunteer Fire Department matches funds raised in the show for the scholarship.
