The Cape JV soccer team ended a thrilling 2026 season in style by going undefeated at 14-0. Not only did the Vikings score 51 goals, they allowed just one goal by their 14 opponents. They played 840 minutes of soccer and allowed just one score.
"This season, the girls brought a new level of soccer to the field," said assistant coach Madison Nichols. "All of them played a vital role in achieving this record and pushing one another to be better. They fought for every ball, every touch, every goal, and every minute of every match.
"The girls also bring a lot of light and fun to their team, which shines through in every instance. Cape girls' soccer program is entering a new period of excellence. I’m beyond proud of the effort put forth this season by the entire team and look forward to them leading the program in a new direction."
