Cape Senior Center announces upcoming activities

Cape Henlopen Senior Center in Rehoboth Beach will hold its Holiday Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 16. It will offer many vendors with a variety of handcrafted items and homemade goodies including assorted types of artwork, welded art and statues; makeup and skin care products; homemade baked goods; jar candles; sea glass and handcrafted jewelry; handmade sweaters, scarves, hats and baby items; and much more. Refreshments will be available. To accommodate attendees, there will be reserved parking along the north side of Christian Street and in the parking lot next to the senior center. Special thanks to Chief Keith Banks of the Rehoboth Beach Police Department for making this happen.  

Cape Henlopen Senior Center will host Afternoon Jackpot Bingo Wednesday, Dec. 4, and the first Wednesday of each month except in January, when the date is Jan. 8. Doors open at 11:30 a.m., special games begin at 1:30 p.m., and regular games start at 2 p.m. The cost is $15 per person, and includes one game pack and specials. Additional games and food may be purchased. The public is welcome, but participants must be over 18. 

Also on Dec. 4 will be the drawing for the winner of the Eagles ticket raffle for two box seats for the Eagles vs. Cowboys football game Sunday, Dec. 22. Tickets are $10 and will be available at the center right up until the drawing.  One does not need to be present to win.
