Gov. John Carney made a trip to Delaware Seashore Park, Indian River Marina and the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control facility in Lewes Sept. 13 to see how employees were preparing for the possible effects from Hurricane Florence. He was accompanied by DNREC Secretary Shawn Garvin.
The beachfront of Delaware was spared the power of Hurricane Florence.
