Carol Ann Clark, retired clerk
Mrs. Carol Ann Clark, 76, of Lewes passed away Thursday, June 10, 2021, in the care of her family and Delaware Hospice.
Carol was born in Wilmington to the late Raymond R. and Margaret Turko Williams. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Leslie R. Clark in 2009; as well as two sisters, Betty Lou Green and Shirley Houdyshell.
She retired from C.P. Diver Chevrolet, where she worked as an accounts receivable clerk for over 20 years. In her free time, she enjoyed planting flowers, going to the beach and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Carol was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew her, and her presence will be greatly missed.
Carol is survived by a daughter, Lynn Michelle Bennett (Robert) of Lewes; and a son, Leslie R. Clark Jr. (Kim) of Townsend; a brother, Ray Williams (Jane) of Middletown; four grandchildren whom she adored, Meghan, Devin, McKenzie and Jacob; as well as her beloved canine companion Toby. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A viewing will be held Tuesday, June 15, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro. A graveside service will take place at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 16, at Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
