Carrie Lingo Team leads daffodil planting at Showfield

November 28, 2019

Members of the Carrie Lingo Team were pleased to present the inaugural Showfield Daffodil Dig Oct. 19.

This fun-filled event brought together numerous Showfield homeowners and offered them the opportunity to both beautify their community and get to know their neighbors.

The Carrie Lingo Team provided more than 2,000 daffodil bulbs to participating Showfield residents, who planted them in the natural area surrounding the community clubhouse. Organizers extend thanks to Rise Up Coffee Roasters for supplying the gardening fuel and Carolina Sugar Fairy Custom Cakes and Sweets for baking delicious daffodil-shaped cookies.

In the spring, Showfield's clubhouse will be surrounded by 2,000 bright and beautiful daffodil flowers.

Showfield is now 95 percent sold out. This iconic 132-acre community, a project of Jack Lingo Asset Management, is situated along a portion of the 16-mile Junction & Breakwater Trail loop in Lewes. Community amenities include a clubhouse, outdoor pool, wooded walking trails, and multiple ponds. Showfield is located within a half-mile of Lewes Beach, Cape Henlopen State Park, and downtown restaurants and shopping opportunities.
