Catholic Byzantine Mass continues June 7 in Lewes

The Rev. Volodymyr Klanichka, pastor of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church in Wilmington, will come to Lewes each week during the summer to celebrate the Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom, the Catholic Byzantine Rite Eucharistic Liturgy.
The next mass will be held at 4 p.m., Sunday, June 7, at St. Jude the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 152 Tulip Drive, Lewes, off northbound Route 1.
Services continue through Sept. 6.
The Byzantine rite is celebrated under the auspices of the pope and in communion with the Roman Catholic Church. The mass is in English and will fulfill a Catholic’s Sunday obligation. All are welcome. To learn more, call 302-762-5511.
