A Celtic Christmas with Fellow Travelers slated Nov. 24-25

November 17, 2018

Fellow Travelers will leave attendees in holiday musical awe as they present A Celtic Christmas at  8 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 24, and 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 25, at the historic Milton Theatre.

Audience members can try counting all of the instruments they will hear in this one show: guitars, Irish bouzouki, Greek bouzouki, mandolins, tin whistles, Highland bagpipes, didgeridoo, bodhrans, tenor and 5-string banjos, hammered dulcimer, Scottish smallpipes, 22-string Irish harp, and accordion, with lots of 3-and 4-part harmony vocals.

A Celtic Christmas re-creates the joy and innocence of a night before Christmas, when neighboring families gather around the fire to grace the wintry night with the haunting melodies of traditional Irish Christmas carols, to raise the rafters with the joy of their music, to knock sparks off the flagstone floor with traditional dances, and to fill the night with the laughter of their stories.

Fellow Travelers is composed of Michael O'Loughlin, Dave Kohut, and father and son Mickey and Keagan Justice.

Tickets are $18 to $25. For more information, go to www.MiltonTheatre.com or call 302-684-3038.
