Champions Field Hockey Camp teaches needed skills

The Champions Field Hockey Camp returned to Cape’s turf field June 25-28, where more than 50 future stars learned skills to make them successful on the field hockey scene. Players ranging from kindergarten through eighth grade received instruction from Cape varsity players on ball control, dribbling, shooting, and defensive and offensive strategy. Players in grades K-4 received instruction from 9 a.m. to noon, while grades 4-8 went from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
