The Developing Artist Collaboration Black Friday weekend holiday shopping event, Dewey Sip & Shop, is set for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday to Sunday, Nov. 25 to 27, in the Dewey Beach Lions Club parking lot, 115 McKinley Ave., Dewey Beach.
Local jewelry artist and entrepreneur Heidi Lowe is on the board of this vital local arts development organization; she will be showing a selection of her signature handmade jewelry there Nov. 25 and 26.
Lowe will be joined by more than 30 local artists and craftspeople exhibiting their art and handmade items at the family-friendly event.
Attractions include live local music, a bar where shoppers can purchase creative cocktails, complimentary beer provided by Dewey Beer Co. and hot cocoa for the kids, and a DIY area where guests can create their own gifts. For more, go to developingarts.org and Facebook.
Heidi Lowe Gallery will host a gemstone trunk show from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 29 to Saturday, Dec. 3, at 17522 Ward Ave., Lewes. Patrons can handpick gemstones from a wide variety of unique, beautiful options. The Heidi Lowe team can also set any stones into custom jewelry in time for the holidays.
