CHEER hosted a Frontier Festival, Sept. 22 at the 20520 Sand Hill Road, Georgetown location. CHEER members from around the county traveled to enjoy a day of activities featuring Nanticoke Indian dancers and the Karson family western show. Healthcare educators and vendors were on hand to offer information and basic testing. Horse drawn surrey riders and sheep shearing demonstrations were held. And a barbecue chicken lunch was enjoyed by attendees.
Sky Brady kept the festival hopping with tunes and games, The CAMP Rehoboth Ensemble and Clifford Keith Band took the stage at noon.
