Children’s storytimes being held at Browseabout Books

June 22, 2019

Browseabout Books is holding free children’s storytimes at 9 a.m. every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday through Sunday, Sept. 1.

Storytime includes a picture book reading and an easy-to-do craft appropriate for ages 2 and up.

Each week will have a different theme, including pirates, llamas, space, things that go, unicorns, princesses, dogs and more. Favorite characters such as Splat the Cat, Bruce the Bear, Mercy Watson, Taco Dragon and Rainbow Fish will make special appearances on select dates.

Guests who will be in the store to read and sign their books this summer include children’s book authors Michelle Meadows, ”Brave Ballerina”; Miranda Mittleman, “Paws and Think! Be Thankful For What You Have”; and Michael Muller, “Mirabelle Goes to the Beach.”

For more information and a schedule of storytime themes and appearances, go to www.browseaboutbooks.com. The schedule will be updated as additional authors and books are added throughout the summer. Printed copies of the schedule are available at the register upon request.
