Christmas Decor seeks decorated family nominees by Nov. 11

Nominations are now open for Christmas Decor's 2023 Decorated Family Program, designed to help bring the spirit of the holidays to life for hundreds of deserving active-duty service members and their families throughout the United States.

Each year, friends and neighbors nationwide nominate deserving military families whose loved ones will be deployed outside the country for the holiday season to receive a free holiday home decorating experience.

Participating franchisees like Christmas Decor by G.M.G. Inc. donate products, resources, time and expertise to create holiday magic for winning nominees, crafting glowing tributes to the service and sacrifice of the nation's active-duty military in communities across the country.

"There are between 160,000 and 170,000 active-duty military personnel who will be separated from their loved ones during the holiday season because of deployments outside the United States," said Gray. "The Decorated Family Program helps us identify the families of those active-duty service members who could use a little cheer to brighten up the holiday season."

Gray encourages Lewes-area residents to nominate the family of a deployed, active-duty service person to be a Christmas Decor Decorated Family for 2023. Go to Christmas Decor's Facebook page, click on the Decorated Family Program link, and tell Christmas Decor why the nominee deserves to be selected for this distinction. Christmas Decor corporate will review all the shared stories and select from the nominated families in each community. Decorated Families will be chosen based on the impact of their story on the judges.
