Christopher M. Eslinger, gifted seamstress

Christopher M. Eslinger, 67, of Bayard, formerly of Potomac, Md., passed away surrounded by her loving family Thursday, Jan. 9, 2020, at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford.

Chris was born in Munich, Germany, daughter of the late Charles Austin Magee and the late Mary Caroline (Pultz) Magee.  She was a graduate of the University of Maryland with a bachelor of science degree.  Chris had worked as a sales associate with the Seaside Country Store in Fenwick Island for over 15 years, retiring in 2018.  

Chris was a gifted seamstress and loved quilting.  She also enjoyed antiques, spending time with her family and was a lover of cats.  

She is survived by her three children, Patricia Brailey and her husband Matthew of Sunnyvale, Calif., Robert Eslinger and his wife Jillian of Frisco, Texas, and Elizabeth Eslinger of Bayard; six grandsons; a brother, Charles Magee and his wife Karen of Indianapolis, Ind.; a sister, Caroline Hauck and her husband Jay of Bayard; and her boyfriend, Tim Casey.  

Services and burial are private.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Chris’ name to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
