Big Chill Surf Cantina recently donated $1,000 to Hope View Haven from proceeds raised during its recent Cinco De Mayo celebration.
Based in Ellendale, Hope View Haven is a nonprofit organization dedicated to giving youth hope for a brighter future through horsemanship, farm-based experiences, life skills instruction and meaningful community connections. Founded to support at-risk youth facing social, emotional and academic challenges, its programs help participants build resilience, confidence, empathy and self-regulation skills through hands-on interaction with horses.
Hope View Haven serves children and individuals navigating challenges such as trauma, ADHD, mood disorders and PTSD, while also helping open pathways for personal growth and future opportunities.
“We are so grateful to partner with Hope View Haven for the first time and support the incredible work they are doing for youth in our community,” said Emily Burns. “Cinco De Mayo is always such a fun celebration at Cantina, and being able to give back while bringing people together made it even more special.”
