Clear Space Theatre says it’s time to move forward

March 4, 2021

Clear Space Theatre is delighted that the Rehoboth Planning Commission reaffirmed the approval of our site-plan review Jan. 26.  We have been a long-standing resident and partner in the community for over 10 years, adding value to the vitality and economy of the City of Rehoboth.  With each show we put on, with each young actor we help to hone his/her craft, and with each patron who leaves with a smile, we are adding to the fabric of this city.  This project is a way to build a stronger future.

It is time to recognize that this site plan has been approved, and move forward.  More than 250 residents and business owners have expressed their support, as have our immediate neighbors, the board of the Ark Condominium.  We invite residents of Rehoboth Beach to encourage the mayor and commissioners to deny any additional appeals that would further delay this, now twice approved, project.

Clear Space will move forward with fundraising and construction while it works to implement the promises it made to the city, our new neighbors, and the arts community.  Now is the time to look ahead as a community.
