The Mule has prevailed over the Elephant. To those who advocate for rebuilding and reforming the Republican Party, I have one question. Why would you now trust anyone in the national Republican Party leadership and but a handful of members of the House and Senate to have the guts, vision and wherewithal to try to resuscitate the mortally wounded Gone Old Party? I’m not sure the Republican Party deserves the effort. Their cowardice, timidity and acquiescence have for many years enabled the Democrats to outflank, outmaneuver and outsmart them at every turn. Unless, before it’s too late, they can become warriors, instead of Caspar Milquetoasts, the clock will run out on the GOP.
