Co-authors Diane Hanson and Todd Cameron to speak April 19

Former Dewey Beach Mayor Diane Hanson and her co-author, Todd Cameron, will be appearing at Browseabout Books to discuss their book, “Management Unleashed” at 5 p.m., Friday, April 19.

Hanson has helped many organizations develop highly functioning teams, and competent and caring managers. Her wide variety of experience includes work with private industry such as pharmaceutical and financial companies, as well as universities, nonprofits, and local, state and federal governments.

Cameron is a corporate innovation lab technical product leader. Collaborating with large multinational corporate clients, he leads emerging technology early-stage incubation projects. He lives with his family outside Philadelphia.

In “Management Unleashed,” readers meet Marti, a young manager learning to effectively lead her team in today's fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. Part autobiographical, part fiction, this fable provides insights to help people better understand behavior.

Throughout their leadership careers, the authors frequently marveled at similarities in motivation and performance outcomes based on using similar techniques with team members, children and dogs. They all share common motivators: praise, attention, rewards and caring relationships.
