Coastal Concerts recently announced its 2026-27 lineup of six performances to take place at Bethel United Methodist Church Hall, Fourth and Market streets, Lewes.

Although an extra concert date is being added this year, season ticket prices are not increasing.

“It is our way of saying thank you to our current subscribers and to encourage others to join us,” said Lee April, president of Coastal Concerts.

World-renowned pianist Awadagin Pratt will kick off the season at 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 24. 

Playing marimba and violin, Ji Su Jung and Timothy Chooi will perform at 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 21.

American String Quartet, featuring violins, viola and cello, will play at 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 23.

Tre Voci will play arrangements for flute, violin and harp at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 27.

Alkemie will feature multiple vocals and instruments at 7 p.m., Saturday, March 13.

Beijing Guitar Duo will play classical guitar music at 7 p.m., Saturday,  April 17.

“[Coastal Concerts] bring[s] internationally acclaimed artists, many who have performed at the world’s most celebrated concert halls, to an intimate, small-town setting. Our audience gets to meet and experience them in a memorable and very personal way,” said Ross Peddicord, executive director.

“This promises to be to be one of the strongest  and most enjoyable seasons we have offered, and includes a diverse array of musical instruments and tastes, from an all-Beethoven string quartet program to the Grammy-nominated classical guitarists,” said Lee.

Discounted season subscriptions will go on sale Wednesday, July 15, at coastalconcerts.org. Single tickets for all concerts will be available via the website Tuesday, Sept. 1.
