Coastal Delaware Restaurant Week to benefit Meals on Wheels June 2-7

May 24, 2019

Coastal Delaware Restaurant Week is now in its third year, and organizers are excited to offer diners from all over the region many opportunities to explore a variety of world-class restaurants in coastal Delaware. The event will be held from Sunday, June 2 to Friday June 7, with more than 40 participating restaurants from Lewes to Fenwick Island and surrounding areas.

Each participating location will offer prix fixe menus costing $25, $35 or $45, so diners can indulge in chef-inspired menus at a fixed cost.

Presenting sponsors of the event – the Cape Gazette, RehobothFoodie.com, Clarke Service Group and Blue Moon Belgian White – will donate a portion of the proceeds from the promotion to Meals on Wheels Lewes-Rehoboth. In only two years, Coastal Delaware Restaurant Week has raised $6,000 for the organization.

The sole mission of Meals On Wheels Lewes-Rehoboth is to provide for the nutritional needs of homebound senior citizens in the Lewes, Rehoboth Beach and Harbeson areas. Meals On Wheels is on the front line helping senior citizens remain independent, dignified members of the local community by assisting in the maintenance of their nutritional needs, one hot, nutritious meal at a time.

Coastal Delaware Restaurant Week invites all to come out and support the growing culinary scene and independent restaurants that make Coastal Delaware a dining destination.
