Community Bank Delaware makes donation to Milton Little League

September 17, 2018

In an effort to increase the playing time available for the youth in the Milton community, the Milton Little League Board of Directors has been working aggressively for the past year toward a special lighting project for the Little League Park.

To support the project, Community Bank Delaware Director Kathy Newcomb previously donated $500 toward her charity of choice, the Milton Little League Lighting Project. To further assist with funding, Community Bank Delaware made a second donation to the lighting project of $500, making the total award $1,000.

President Jack Riddle stated, “Community Bank Delaware is proud to partner with Milton Little League. Little League is a very important part of our community.”

Newcomb, lighting committee chair for Milton Little League, stated, “I am fortunate to be part of Community Bank Delaware, a bank that gives back and understands the local people.”

The lighting has been installed on the Minor League Field and will be available for the 2019 Milton Little League season kickoff.
