Del-One celebrates Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month with KSI

Del-One Federal Credit Union, celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, recognized March as Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month with KSI. Brandy Buzzuto, Del-One business development representative, delivered two trays of cookies to KSI staff and program participants. The celebration of embracing abilities continued when Del-One interviewed two KSI program participants to feature on its Facebook page. KSI is a nonprofit agency providing vocational training, employment, community integration, transportation, day habilitation, life enrichment and nutritional services to individuals with disabilities throughout Kent and Sussex counties.

Order Girl Scout Cookies through April 4

The Girl Scout Cookie season has been exciting this year as girls used innovative and socially distant ways to keep themselves and their customers safe. Through Sunday, April 4, customers can order cookies to be shipped directly to their home or to be donated to first responders. To order, go to gscb.org/cookies. 

UUSD to hold online service April 4

The Unitarian Universalists of Southern Delaware will hold an online service at 10 a.m., Sunday, April 4. The Rev. Paula Maiorano said, “It is an Easter reflection on possibilities of resurrection for Unitarian Universalists, and ways to participate in a personal transformation that advances a spirit of love, hope and compassion in the world.” All are welcome to view this Sunday Service on UUSD's Facebook page. Long Neck UMC Easter services set April 4

Long Neck United Methodist Church will host Easter Sunday services at 8:45 and 11 a.m., April 4, at 32051 Long Neck Road, Millsboro. Parking lot services will begin again at 8:45 a.m., Sunday, May 2. For more information, go to longneckumc.com.
