American Legion Post 5 and SAL donate to Epworth Skate Park

Post 5 American Legion and the Sons of the American Legion both gave $250, for a total of $500 in donations, to support Epworth Skate Park in Rehoboth Beach.

“James Roland West III does a great job keeping the park a clean, safe place for local youth to get out and skate,” said American Legion member Steve Carey. “It’s been a tough year for them donations-wise with all the restrictions. If anyone would like to make a donation, James and the First State Skate truck are at the Big Chill Surf Cantina almost every day.”

Checks also can be made payable and mailed to Epworth United Methodist Church, 18285 Holland Glade Road, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971, with “skate park” noted in the memo so the funds will be used for park maintenance.
