Connie L. Huffman, active Moose member

Connie L. Huffman, 72, of Seaford passed away Thursday, June 25, 2020, at Lofland Park Center, in Seaford. She was born April 16, 1948, in Frankford, daughter of the late Walter and Gertrude (Webb) Hudson.

Connie enjoyed dancing, knitting, sewing, playing cards, camping, the great outdoors, but most of all, family. She was an active member of the Moose Club and supporter of the American Legion. Connie was loved by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Huffman was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William "Steve" Huffman. She is survived by her sons: Stevie L. Huffman and his wife Angela, and Mark Huffman and his partner Amy Penuel; her sister, Barbara Peters; her grandchildren: Mark Huffman, Kristen Huffman, Justin Huffman, Morgan Willey, Jake Penuel, Lexie Penuel and Ava Huffman; and many other family members and friends. 

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 1, at 11 a.m., at Watson-Yates Funeral Home & Crematorium, a member of the Parsell Funeral Family, 609 East King St., Seaford, where friends may visit beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Blades Cemetery, 1000 Market St., Blades. Social distancing protocol will be observed, and masks are required for all in attendance.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Mrs. Huffman's memory to the Moose Lodge, 22759 Bridgeville Highway, Seaford, DE 19973.
