Cookie’s Paper Petals offers handmade flower creations

Cookie’s Paper Petals has opened at 10 SW Front St. in downtown Milford.

Specializing in hand-cut paper petals to form many types of flowers in a variety of shapes, colors and sizes, Cookie’s Paper Petals is the only paper petal shop on the East Coast. Owner Anastasia Jackson began creating flowers from paper as a creative outlet, not realizing at the time that her pastime could become a business.

Customers can purchase flowers and place orders for any custom styles.

Jackson spends at least one hour creating each flower. Prices range from $15-$120 for a single flower depending on size, style and colors. She has been teaching paper flower classes for Makers Monday online tutorials, at the Boys & Girls Club of Milford, and as a community event partner with My Sister’s Fault bakery.

“I’m excited about introducing paper flowers to Milford from teaching, selling and creating paper flowers for your next baby shower, wedding or any event,” said Jackson.
