Country music legend Wynonna to appear in Harrington Oct. 26
The Entertainment Department at Harrington Raceway and Casino announced that country music legend Wynonna, and her band The Big Noise, are scheduled to perform at the exhibit hall at 8 p.m., Friday, Oct. 26, as part of the Live On Stage series lineup.
Five-time Grammy award-winner Wynonna will bring her unmistakable music, storytelling and sound to the exhibit hall stage. Whether performing alongside her mother as one half of the legendary country duo The Judds, or pushing the boundaries on her own mega-successful solo career path, Wynonna is truly loved by her fans around the world. Respected by millions who are drawn to her music and unmistakable talent, Wynonna’s rich voice has sold over 30 million albums worldwide, spanning her remarkable 34-year career.
Wynonna first rose to fame in the 1980s alongside her mother Naomi as the mother/daughter country duo The Judds. Several hit albums followed with an acclaimed 14 No. 1 hits. The Judds eventually ended their remarkable career in 1991, due to Naomi’s battle with Hepatitis C.
Wynonna continued on her solo career, distinguishing herself in the fabric of the country music landscape.
