County Bank recently presented a $3,000 grant to Milford Housing Development Corporation to support its Self-Help Housing Program.
MHDC is a nonprofit organization that provides affordable housing solutions to people of modest means.
The Self-Help Housing Program was established by USDA Rural Development more than 45 years ago, utilizing a sweat equity model.
The only agency in Delaware offering the program, MHDC has assisted more than 240 families in realizing their dream of homeownership.
