Couples and Money free financial education class set Nov. 13

A free financial education class titled Couples and Money will be offered to the public from 6 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 13, at the Unity Spiritual Center, 98 Rudder Road in Long Neck.

This class will show couples how to navigate the construction of their financial house as a partnership. It will cover how to protect family, manage debt and credit in the most financially favorable way, and plan for the ultimate vacation of retirement. This will be an informational session with an opportunity to ask questions.

Sponsor Delaware Money School provides experienced instructor Diane Heydt, who will break down these complex subjects to simple layman's terms. This class focuses on steps people can take to avoid common financial mistakes and navigate the path to both partners understanding their finances.

The Money School is the signature program of the nonprofit Delaware Financial Literacy Institute. To register, go to www.dfli.org. Walk-ins are welcome.
