COVID-19 isn’t our greatest threat

May 15, 2020

What are we doing, America? We’ve destroyed a booming economy, turned a record number of jobs into record unemployment numbers, and given up our basic tenets of liberty - all so we won’t get sick? We are experiencing absolute insanity of far greater deadly magnitude than the pandemic.

The pandemic has been politicized beyond all reason, and those who are perpetrating and leveraging this travesty for their own political advantage are beyond contempt. It’s not COVID-19 we should fear.

It’s the power-grabbing mayors, governors and congressional office holders who now represent the greatest threat to America.

Many years ago, we scoffed at Nikita Khrushchev’s pronouncement that “You Americans are so gullible. No, you won’t accept communism outright, but we’ll keep feeding you small doses of socialism until you’ll finally wake up and find you already have communism. We won’t have to fight you. We’ll so weaken your economy until you’ll fall like overripe fruit into our hands.”

Mr. Khrushchev may have the last laugh after all.
