West Side Creative Market returns for its fifth season with expanded public programming and major upgrades including a large custom awning structure that allows operations to carry on rain or shine.

Created in 2021 by the nonprofit Developing Artist Collaboration, the small outdoor artist market built in a gravel parking lot has grown into a vibrant weekly gathering featuring local artists, live music, food vendors, public art, performances and community connection.

“This season feels like a huge turning point for us,” said Jenn Jones, DAC board co-chair. “For years, weather has been one of the biggest challenges for outdoor creative events. The new awning allows us to create consistency for artists, musicians, vendors and visitors while continuing to invest in making the space more immersive, welcoming and community-centered.”

The 2026 season will feature more than 150 rotating local artists and vendors of handmade goods; weekly live music and performances; food trucks and new creative cocktail offerings; expanded seating and lounge areas; new visitor signage and public art installations; and extended programming with Saturday markets in September.

Creative Market operates from 5 to 9 p.m., every Monday and Friday from Memorial Day through Labor Day, with additional Saturdays in September, at 19826 Central St. in West Rehoboth.
