Celebrating its 49th year, the Rehoboth Art League’s Annual Outdoor Fine Art and Fine Craft Show has returned to Henlopen Acres.

More than 100 artists and artisans from around the country have their work on display during the two-weekend event. The first weekend has passed, but there’s still this weekend – 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 13, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 14.

The outdoor show is a juried event, featuring many local and regional artists, and a variety of mediums – oil and acrylic painting, pastel painting, fine jewelry, wood and metal work, photography, ceramics, mixed media and more.

Visitors at this year’s show still have an opportunity to win a one-of-a-kind piece of artwork generously donated by a participating event artist. This year’s work, “A Distance I Have Wandered,” was donated by Kate Meyer, an oil painter based in coastal Virginia. The winning ticket will be pulled at 4 p.m., Aug. 14.

The weekend entry fee is $5, with no charge for children under age 12. Tickets can be purchased by cash or credit card at the gate. For more information, go to rehobothartleague.org.
