Cuvée Ray reopens with new offerings including casual bar menu

March 11, 2019

Cuvée Ray Wine Bar and Restaurant rolled out its new Cuvée Casual Bar Menu in conjunction with its 2019 season reopening March 7.

This new menu is in addition to the Cuvée Ray dinner menu which patrons have enjoyed since Cuvée Ray opened last July, except they will now also offer a multi-course chef’s tasting menu option. Cuvée Ray will showcase the new Cuvée Casual Bar Menu by offering all items half price at its Grand Reopening Party Thursday, March 14, with live music by 2nd Time Around.

The Cuvée Ray Casual Bar Menu will feature such items as soups and salads, flatbreads and small plates such as meatballs, fried oysters, ravioli, short rib sliders and many other choices.

“Frankly, we heard from a number of guests that they would like more small plates and casual options, so I talked to our chef and voilà … the Cuvée Casual Bar Menu,” said owner Ray Kurz. “Dining should be more than having a meal, it should be an experience … we call it the Cuvée Ray Experience... and each and every choice on our menus is carefully thought through as to how it can enhance that experience and of course how it will pair with one of our 170+ wine choices,” added Kurz.

Cuvée Ray has a number of other changes for the upcoming 2019 season, including the introduction of the Club Cuvée loyalty program and establishment of their Cuvée Kindness Charitable arm. “Supporting charitable causes and giving back to the community has always been part of my vision for Cuvée Ray and while we did support numerous charities since we opened, we wanted to formalize our giving program and make it more prominent in the community,” said Kurz. “And we also want to say thank you to the folks that support us by visiting Cuvée Ray through the Club Cuvée loyalty program which will offer food discounts and free appetizers, small plates and entrees, additional periodic discount coupons, as well as access to special Club Cuvée events, and being the first to be notified of Cuvée Ray special events and wine tastings.”

This season, Cuvée Ray will continue to offer off-season specials, private dining in their wine room, wine producer dinners and wine tastings, including their one-of-a-kind Vintunes wine-tasting events in which wine and music are paired according to their shared characteristics. Kurz also noted “Being a wine, food and music venue, Cuvée Ray will continue to offer live music on a regular basis, but we will now also add special events one Thursday every month.”
