Dame Edna’s Mothers Day Special Comedy Show set at the Milton Theatre May 8

May 2, 2021

The brilliant unscripted comedy of Dame Edna presented by Scott Mason returns to the Milton Theatre Saturday, May 1, at 8 p.m. Dame Edna's award-winning Honorary Understudy is back for more! Get ready for another belly-busting good time and make sure to come prepared! She's ready to share a round of Coronatinis, crazy zingers, double-entendre one-liners, and mischievous observations of the Milton crowd!

Mother and child compete for the "Best Mom" award in Newlywed Game fashion. The Dame's Motherhood Game will feature three mothers and their adult child competing for prizes in the spirit of "The Newlywed Game." (Everyone will win something just to deal with the Dame!) If wanting to participate, sign up upon arrival for the show and the three lucky sets of mother and child will be chosen at random for what promises to be a fun-filled escapade in true Dame fashion.

Scott Mason has been professionally impersonating Dame Edna and entertaining audiences since 2003. He was chosen by Barry Humphries (the real Dame Edna) as her Honorary Understudy in 2010 on Broadway! Mason blends his own comedic material and that of the real Dame. He was inducted into the Sunburst Convention of Tribute Artists' Hall of Fame for Funniest Male in 2011 and won Best Comedian in the Las Vegas Reel Awards in 2010.
