The National Council of Nonprofits recently announced that Sheila Bravo of Lewes has been elected to its board of directors.
Bravo is the president and CEO of DANA, the Delaware Alliance for Nonprofit Advancement, and one of five members elected to the national council in 2022.
The National Council of Nonprofits relies on nonprofit leaders who can bring their vast experience and accomplishments in the worlds of business, philanthropy and nonprofits to further bolster the National Council of Nonprofits’ efforts on behalf of the country’s 1.3 million nonprofit organizations.
“I'm thrilled to be able to join the National Council of Nonprofits board of directors,” said Bravo. “Nonprofits have always played a fundamental role in creating communities that thrive, and the landscape of our communities has been changing rapidly over the last two years. For nonprofits to remain relevant and deliver their services efficiently, we need to find opportunities to collaborate and create innovative solutions to issues.”
